About Jeannette

My goal as an artist is to express, with paint, my awe at the beauty and complexity of the world we inhabit. I respect the land that supports us, and am deeply aware that we are a part of it. I am moved by architecture within the landscape, the house by the sea...the people that were there before us, those that will be there after us.

I paint both in the studio, and Plein Air. Plein Air painting presents challenges and rewards that enrich my studio work, where I tend to be more creative. That creativity is then carried out into the fields when I paint...they work in harmony.
